Privacy policy

The Two of Us app and this website

The Two of Us collects no personal data and sends none anywhere.

What stays on your phone

The names you enter in the app and the record of which questions you have already done are stored only in your device's local storage and never leave it. You can delete both at any time in the app's Settings.

Answers are never written down. You talk out loud and the app keeps no trace of it. The app does not listen, record or transcribe what you say at home.

No analytics, ads or cookies

The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising tools and uses no cookies. The native iOS app works entirely offline and makes no network requests. That is why the App Store privacy questionnaire says the app collects no data.

This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts either.

Hosting

This website and the web version of the app are hosted on GitHub Pages, which, like any website host, may briefly record technical access data such as an IP address in its server logs. I have no access to those logs and do not work with them in any way.

Notifications

The optional weekly reminder, Sunday inspiration, uses only local notifications scheduled on your own phone. No server, no data sent anywhere. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn the reminder on. You can decline it, and you can switch it off later at any time.

Permissions

The app does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Children

The app is meant for parents to use together with their child. It collects no data about children, because it collects no data at all. There is no sign-up, no chat, no sharing and no links to social networks.

Questions

Anything about privacy, write to me at font@email.cz or on LinkedIn. I read it myself and reply personally.
